Shared Leadership and Teacher Engagement in International Schools: A Qualitative Study
This qualitative case study investigates how shared leadership practices shape teacher engagement in international schools. Modern educational institutions operate within complex, rapidly changing environments characterized by accountability demands, curriculum innovation, multicultural communities, technological advancement, and heightened stakeholder expectations. In such contexts, leadership concentrated in a single formal leader often proves insufficient to address the diverse expertise and adaptive responses required for meaningful school improvement.
