App based taxi aggregator business thrived India for few years from 2010, when Ola, one of the early pioneers of Indian App based taxi aggregator business. Later in the year 2013, Uber,
the key International player of APP based taxi aggregator business entered in India. During the initial years of launch of the App based taxi aggregator business in India by Ola and
subsequently by the entry of Uber, created so much of demand for the taxi drivers and looked very promising profession as livelihood. India with huge population of youth looking for
steady and guaranteed source of decent earnings as employment and livelihood, made use of the opportunity fullest. Most of the unemployed youth from rural areas was lured into App based taxi aggregator business as drivers, as this was easy to take the opportunity with less hurdles of qualification and skills. In the beginning the earnings of these drivers was very handsome, because of which, some the low end IT professionals and other blue collared employees quit their jobs to become drivers of the App based taxi aggregator business.
