Improving Patient Care Quality Through Effective Healthcare Management Systems: A Case Study Approach
The healthcare industry faces the complex task of delivering high-quality care while managing costs, operational challenges, and regulatory compliance. As healthcare facilities strive to meet these challenges, the role of effective healthcare management systems becomes increasingly vital. This capstone project aims to explore how structured and efficient healthcare management practices can improve patient outcomes, reduce errors, and increase overall patient satisfaction. It will focus on a specific healthcare facility, examining current management systems and identifying potential areas for improvement. A healthcare system is the framework of organizations, institutions, and resources designed to deliver healthcare services to populations. It includes hospitals, clinics, insurance providers, government agencies, and other entities responsible for ensuring public health. Healthcare systems vary across countries, with some following public models funded by the government, while others rely on private or a combination of public-private funding.
