Post-COVID-19 Impact on Business Environment and Sustainability Practices
After the cessation of restrictive lockdowns, the world affected badly by the COVID-19 pandemic, altering how people interact and work. The global economy faces new uncertainties, driving a push towards sustainability by considering internal and external factors. Achieving a sustainable environment requires integrating policies that connect the environment, economy, and society. This research is to understand the effect of good corporate governance and sustainable growth rate on sustainability reports, focusing on business and financial sectors globally. Using 15 indices that describe the overall corporate governance structure, the study evaluates how these mechanisms impact decision-making, compliance, and sustainability practices. The findings will provide insights into how companies can adapt to regulatory changes and sustain their cultural norms and priorities during and after crises as COVID-19.
