Resilient Management: Leveraging Productivity and Growth in the Era of Digital Transformation

This thesis aims to discuss a relatively novel phenomenon of resilient management and assert that it has become an essential prerequisite for boosting productivity and growth in contemporary businesses within the digital transformation environment. Ensuring business continuity in the face of disruptions is fundamental, given the current growing rate of change in the technological environment and the market, which is considered vital today.
Resilient management, the ability of an organization to promptly and efficiently respond to disturbances while always ensuring constant operations, is critical today due to the high rate of technological development and the ever-changing markets. Therefore, this research aims to understand better resilient management's theoretical background, application, and managerial relevance, emphasizing data analytics utilization, sustainability, innovation, and adequate risk management.
First, the focus is on resilient management and establishing presence and importance in organizations' modern economic environment. This body of literature comprises a synthesis of the current literature on the resilient management paradigm, the theoretical frameworks of digital business transformation, and the research on using big data analytics in informing strategic decision-making. Also, it looks at sustainability propositions, environmental, social, and governance (ESG) policies, innovations, risk management systems, change management models, and shifts in management paradigms.
Specifically, in the section devoted to the methodology, the approach chosen, the design of the work, the methods used to collect and analyze the data, and the rationale for their choice are accurately described, thus supporting the empirical analysis. In the case of this study, the quantitative data are used in conjunction with qualitative data to provide a comprehensive depiction of resilient management. To provide a clear understanding of the study, the research objectives, aim, and specific questions are determined, along with the explanation of key concepts, such as digital transformation and its effect on organization structures, followed by examples of best practices in digital transformation.
