The Impact of Technology Integration on Student Engagement and Academic Achievement in K-12 Education.

The impact of integrating technology into K-12 education is, therefore, changing the face of this learning sphere. Dramatically, it improves student engagement and academic achievement. This quantitative descriptive study details how technological tools and platforms influence the students' educational experience at different levels. In this scenario, a mass opinion poll of 300 students from different classes about the level of engagement and academic achievement in a technology-enhanced learning environment was researched. The results indicated that the integration of technology made the process of learning interactive and dynamic. Moreover, it fosters the impression that an interactive whiteboard, educational application, and engaging game- like learning environments turn on students' interests and enhance their motivation towards studying. Furthermore, they can realize individual instruction and create a unique educational experience to provide the optimal conditions for each student to achieve higher results. Effectiveness of technology integration digital divide issues related to inequities in access to technological resources, particularly for students from low-income families.
