Students Attitudes Towards Learning English: A Survey of ESL High Schoolers in Bogor, Indonesia

This action research report describes an investigation into the complex influence that integration with technology has had on the ESL classroom within three Catholic High Schools in Bogor, Indonesia. Most recently, deep penetration of digital technologies into the educational environment has brought revolutionary changes in language learning and opened new vistas for the creation of conditions where students are more motivated and involved. The current study investigates how this integration of technology is contributing to the above-mentioned effects on the learner of ESL based on three criteria: the motivation and engagingness of students, measurable learning results in terms of language acquisition, and pedagogical issues surrounding the technology integration process.
