ABSTRACT
Objective: The objective of this article is to review the concept of Alexithymia and what can be the cause of this condition, in addition to understanding what are the possible causes for the disorder in the processing of assimilation of emotions and the difficulty in expressing emotions
Theoretical framework: The theoretical structure of the study included a theoretical review of several articles on the subject, predominantly choosing journals with good qualifications.
